SARDINERA HOUSE

In the south of Spain, between Valencia and Benidorm, the mountain villa, Sardinera House offers breath-taking views of the Mediterranean Sea. Accoya® was selected to clad the ceilings with lattices and to construct the furniture for the dream villa. Due to the location of the project, the decisive factors for specifying Accoya® wood was the need to have a material that had outstanding durability and dimensional stability.

The design, carried out by the Ramón Esteve studio, was created to maximize the panoramic views of the surroundings, and all the wood used was bleached Accoya® wood. The west facade, which allows access to the villa, is covered with a system of adjustable and motorized Accoya® wooden staves that provide protection to the interior of the house and create privacy. The house has been designed with sustainability criteria and has achieved the A energy certification.
