The new headquarters of furniture manufacturer STUA in Astigarraga (Spain) is more than just a showroom — it’s a statement of intent.
This three-story building, located by the Urumea River and facing a bamboo forest, reflects the philosophy of this renowned company: timeless design, functional creativity, and respect for the essential.
Not by chance, they chose a material that matches their standards for the exterior envelope: Accoya acetylated wood.
Thanks to its extreme durability, stability, and natural beauty, Accoya wood blends elegantly with this contemporary architecture, designed by Jesús Gasca and Jon Gasca.
"The wood is performing wonderfully”, says the latter. And it’s no surprise — Accoya is designed to withstand even the most demanding conditions with minimal maintenance.
Built in 2024 by Construcciones Dopico, this showroom represents a sustainable exhibition model, where even the offices are integrated into the visitor experience.
Because when design meets sustainability, the result is a place where you truly want to stay.
