Maison de l’Ordre des Avocats (Paris)

The architectural studio Renzo Piano Building Workshop decided to base this project on the concept of transparency. The MOdA building, the Maison de l’Ordre des Avocats, the headquarters of the Paris Bar Association, is designed to transmit the idea of the clarity with which they must approach their work as upholders of the law and justice.

To transmit this symbolism, they used wooden curtain walling that sustains the glass. This project was carried out using VIGAM, the only oak glulam beam in the world with the CE marking for structural use.

MOdA was part of the project for the Justice District of Paris, also commissioned to the team of the architect Renzo Piano.
